Come enjoy this vibrant, soulful, kids friendly show. Enjoy the powerful voice from Maju Maju, a double Grammy Award Winner, a former founding member of the Soweto Gospel Choir and Director of Abande. She is accompanied by 7-piece band and more special guests including West Vancouver Choir and Kolo Choir from Ukraine.

Abande is a Zulu word which means (Expand), we are expanding humanity the spirit of togetherness, spreading some love, bringing people together through music, dance and storytelling.
Our shows consist of artists from all over the world, using our own language and English of course.
Abande show has more than 20 members from different ethnicity, including the band. We perform some popular South African songs such as Mirriam Makeba (Pata Pata) and Brenda Fassie( Vulindlela), some original songs and many more. The shows take place all around Canada.
